Whether it be regular maintenance or on the side of a highway..Here's the easiest way to replace Drive Belts on a Detroit Diesel DD Series engine.
Note: This applies to all Heavy Duty Detroit engines (DD13, DD15, DD16).
This example uses the Hydraulic style Tensioner. Newer model engines use a friction type tensioner but the procedure is very much the same.
